An American Crime (2007)

This movie brought two very clear states of spirit to me: nausea and hate.

The nausea was a result of the horror-like facts and events in the movie, although I assure you it's not a SF film or any kind of monsters other than, of course, People. The movie is maybe to well assembled and that's why even my strong stomach had been hurt. On the other hand, the hate comes against people who make an excuse out of misunderstood or twisted religious principles and, with these as pretexts, commit deeds of incredible evil.

Still, returning to the epic line of the movie, it's about an american family (Wink), a woman and a lot of kide most of them her's, a few taken into care, from some other folks, for a weekly sum of money. The woman decides that her kids are more important to her and, suddenly, the two "outsider" girls are to be taught lesson after lesson.

I rate it 7/10 and this consistent vote is because it depicts very neatly a big part of an american reality.
