Hancock

Following a series of box-office flops Will Smith makes a comeback with this action/comedy/drama/whatnot cocktail.

An innovative approach to superhero movies and not in the "Superhero Movie" kind of way, Hancock manages to emerge as a successful melange of different genres offering the viewers a fresh, intense and very funny experience.

I, for one, enjoyed it thoroughly.

I almost laughed to tiers to this one... Seen it in cinema and definitely not disappointed, even if some of my friends were.

Anyhow, the role is perfect for Will Smith 'couse I can't think to any other actor could played it better... As for Charlize Theron Rolleyes I almost didn't recognized her; yes, still astonishing beautiful, but a little bit different from how I knew her in Italian Job. Well, she grew up, and her body too, I guess.

The trailer was very good, because after I seen it more then once, I still wondered "Who's the bad guy in this movie?" Yeah, some bank robbers, but that's no mach for a hero, that's routine...

As for the bad parts of the movie... I admit, it was a little predictable here and there and the touching moments a little bit to long, but there weren't many, so... It's fine, it's American, that's for sure. Wink

Never say never...

It was nice. Yet many scenes were boring, especially those in which Hancock told his sad story. However, the idea was good.

I was a bit disappointed. Low-graded performances from the actors and inconsistent story line.

There's no actual basis for the story. No substance. He is a depressed hero that ultimately and totally by the hand of god finds his lost ex-wife. After people accuse him of messing things up, next time he appears in public he is acclaimed like the most famous egiptean pharaoh. C'mon... Anyway, it's just my opinion.

Agree with you, Lucien. But I manage to overlook these and enjoy the movie as it was.

I enjoyed it as well. I wouldn't say that it's a great or even a good movie, but sometimes you just want to disconnect and watch a movie that's not pretentious or too complicated.
