Hooligans (2005)
A lot of people recommended me this film, but I kept forgetting about it. Untill a few days ago. I liked it big time. It's a really impressive movie about the "hooligans" - for whom this doesn't sound familiar, the Hooligans are the english football (as in soccer) fans, known world wide for their violence when going to a football match, be it before or after it - stressing out, at the same time, many differences between them and the american gangsters or homeboys.
So, in this movie, this american (or "yank") student, which was expelled from Harvard for covering up for his rich and famous room mate, gets in England, visiting his sister. Her husband was, in fact, a great leader of one of the "firms" (a firm is a group of people supporting a particular football team) of England, the GSE (the Green Street Elite) and his brother is actually the present chief of this firm.
A lot of adventures start the moment the american hangs out with the leader of GSE.

Great movie, indeed. I recommend it to you, all. Got me a good mood and extra energy for the day. Smile
