Despite the fact that the subject is old as Time, it always gained the proper attention. And, pretty much, all the movies about Batman have had success. Due to the last movies' lower quality, I can say that I can hardly wait to see it!

Keith Ledger's last movie before he committed suicide. If I'm gonna go watch this movie I think this might be the only reason.

well i think there's room to debate the whole suicide thing. i heard that he got so much into the role of joker that he got sleepless nights and he had to take sleeping pills to be able to get some rest. i think i like this version better. this is the one i like to believe. i heard it's a great movie, i saw michael caine, that plays the buttler at jay leno yesterday. actors like michael caine and christian bale just can't dissapoint.

you only hear in movies about people who got so obsessed with their work, that their own work eventually got to them. this fact about ledger kindda gives me the creeps. i wonder...

My pain is constant and sharp and I do not hope for a better world for anyone, in fact I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape...

Quote:
A tracking firm says “The Dark Knight” has set a box office record for a midnight debut. Media By Numbers says the new Batman movie from Warner Bros. brought in $18.5 million Friday from its midnight screening in 3,040 theaters. That bested the 2005 performance of “Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith,” which took in $16.9 million.

I can't say that I am surprised. The movie was very well promoted. Hope it is as good as it is said. Can't wait to see it.

$18.5 million from the first screening, and it was at midnight? Damn! Can't wait to see the movie now.
